Not only a tree is cut down.

Not only a tree is cut down.

We are all connected.

The world is where we live.

A dramatic picture taken by Michael Nolan has been dubbed the face of Mother Nature crying on a canvas of melting ice and cascading water on a Norwegian Glacier. Michael Nolan is a marine photographer and environmental lecturer. He has captured this picture while on an annual voyage to observe the glacier and surrounding wildlife. It’s best to quote Nolan’s words on this:“This is how one would imagine mother nature would express her sentiments about our inability to reduce global warming. It seemed an obvious place for her to appear, on a retreating ice shelf, crying.”

Cancer begins with a group of cells within a community that failed to communicate with the conscious signal of the organism. Those cells begin to grow out of control and spread to other areas of the organism. This very disease is evident in our world today. The cancer upon our Earth is the domination of our false ego and our divorce from nature. Collectively among every human, vanity leads to segregation and competition. Competition leads to fear and greed. Greed leads to deceit and immorality. And immorality is the breeding ground for illness, waging war on our Earth. Every act of hatred and destructiveness in our world begins with self hate and self destructiveness, and that all begins with a breakdown of communication.

Since 1980 the number of national catastrophes has quadrupled.

Just because a person is beautiful doesn’t mean there’s no soul beneath. Doesn’t mean that person hasn’t suffered like everyone else, doesn’t mean they don’t hope to still be a good human being in an awful world.

Es increible que la naturaleza pida a gritos ayuda, pero mas increible es que nadie la escuche.
It’s incredible that nature is yelling for help, but even more incredible is that no one hears it.

Orbiting the sun at about 98 million miles is a little blue planet and this planet is run by a bunch of monkeys. Now, the monkeys don’t think of themselves as monkeys…

How many war casualties, oil spills, dead fish, and natural disasters will we need to see before we set aside our differences and awaken towards interconnectiveness with each other, the Earth, and all life forms?

We destroy our home - the Earth - for the sake of the economy.
We torture and treat animals as mere commodities for the sake of the economy.
We keep using oil, despite the alternatives, for the sake of the economy.
We perpetuate wars and kill each other for the sake of the economy.
We promote superficial and materialistic values for the sake of the economy.
We indebt the poor for the sake of the economy.
We remain asleep for the sake of the economy.
